Corporate Immigration

Webber Law Firm, LLC has extensive experience advising employers in corporate immigration matters.  Our experience includes work with some of the largest companies in the country, as well as fast-growing start-ups, and privately-owned businesses.  We also have represented several universities, colleges, and non-profit organizations.  We have substantial experience working with clients in a variety of industries including software, information technology (IT), communications technology, manufacturing, agri-business, forest products, health care, engineering services, financial services, and higher education/universities.  We are pleased to work with a number of foreign companies who have established a presence in the United States, including working with companies who are just entering the U.S. market.

We advise organizations in filing for temporary and permanent visa status for their employees and advise on related immigration issues, such as I-9 compliance.  We provide our services in a flexible way, working often directly with H.R. professionals or sometimes through in-house Legal Departments.

In the area of temporary visas, we advise on H-1B and L-1 visa petitions (both individual L and blanket L filings), B-1, TN, E-1, E-2, E-3, O-1, and R-1.  We have also worked with employers on trainee visas for H-3 and J-1 trainees.

In the area of permanent residence processing, we have processed many cases pursuant to PERM labor certification standards, as well as seeking exemptions from PERM for Outstanding Researchers, Investors, Intra-company Transferee Managers and Executives, and Religious Workers.

In particular, in the area of PERM processing, we take a very proactive and strategic approach, advising clients on full compliance with U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) regulations, including analysis of prevailing wage determinations and understanding how to build strong cases in case of DOL audit.
